Stray dog attacks
Very recently I became aware of a cruel attack. A mid-aged lady was on her morning walk, on entering a new street she was cruelly attacked by seven stray dogs. She unfortunately passed away on the way to hospital. The video of the attack was incessantly shared in WhatsApp groups along with a warning message : " During morning walks carry sticks for safety".
To everyone of us this may seem as a pitiful event (towards the lady). Following this many members of that locality may carry a stick, hit or kill the dogs that come in their way to ensure safety. We can't blame this notion of understanding, yet there is something else of utmost priority.
Reason of animal's behavior in an arrogant way?
If you personally have a pet , will your animal behave that way? Of course not right!
In the above case those dogs dint know the meaning of compassion or loyalty to humans, This is not due to their nature, It's because never in it's life someone have showed it care.
Imagine this:
1)Humans get hurt from pelting of stones,
2)They receive hatred from all around,
3)They are subjected to inhumane practices,
4)Rude voice shouting towards them
The person would surely become a sadist-psyco
When our own species turn like this we can't blame the animals which do the same. The blame should be on the cruel environment, and those in the street who were ignorant about their street animals.
Next time if you come across any young stray animal , spend a minute to extend your care, give a smile. If you plant the seed of love in a puppy it will bloom to protect you, at least it won't harm humans. Don't let them grow wild. Stray animals deserve your love and care, and though they live in streets, make sure you treat, greet, and grow them with love.
